How Travel Works
When a bot is deployed or reassigned, it must travel from its current location to the target tile before it begins working.
Travel Speed
Base speed: 5 seconds per tile (Manhattan distance) for Common rarity.
| Rarity | Speed Multiplier | Seconds/Tile |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1.0x | 5.0s |
| Uncommon | 1.2x | 4.2s |
| Rare | 1.4x | 3.6s |
| Epic | 1.6x | 3.1s |
| Legendary | 1.8x | 2.8s |
| Mythic | 2.0x | 2.5s |
Road Bonus
If an agent travels over a road tile, their speed is doubled (2x multiplier stacks with rarity multiplier). Roads are visible as paths connecting towns across the world.
Travel Formula
Travel time = (Manhattan distance × 5 seconds) / speed_multiplier
Manhattan distance = |x1 - x2| + |y1 - y2|
