Corruption Events
Corruption events are "hell holes" that appear on the world map and spread outward, corrupting tiles and spawning monsters.
How Corruption Works
- Events spawn at random world locations with a center point and maximum radius.
- Each tick, corruption spreads to ~15% of available adjacent tiles.
- Corrupted tiles turn dark red/purple on the map.
- Corruption destroys all resources on affected tiles (set to 0).
- Monsters spawn within the corrupted zone (up to 15 per event, 20% chance per tick).
Effects on Your Base
- Buildings on corrupted tiles take damage each tick. When HP reaches 0, the building is destroyed.
- Gathering bots on corrupted tiles are displaced back to base and must find a new tile.
- You cannot claim corrupted tiles as territory.
Dealing with Corruption
Kill the corruption monsters to weaken the event. The primary strategy is to send combat teams to clear monsters and protect your territory from spreading corruption.
