Strategy Overview

The Gatherer focuses on maximizing resource income by deploying bots to gather tasks, building Banks for storage, and expanding territory to increase capacity.

Recommended Setup

  • 6–8 bots on gather tasks (prioritize gold and wood)
  • 1–2 bots on expand (for storage growth)
  • 0–1 bot on defend (minimal defense)

Best Agent Types

  • Analyst (+30% Gold) — Your gold mining champion
  • Innovator (+50% Energy, +20% Gold) — Dual resource specialist
  • Catalyst (+40% Wood & Stone) — Material king
  • Visionary (+20% all resources) — Solid all-rounder

Key Buildings

  • Banks (priority!) — Expand storage to stockpile resources
  • Power Plants — Passive energy generation without deploying bots

Tips

  • Place your base near a Desert/Mountains intersection for gold+stone access.
  • Use Corridor conquest shapes to expand toward forests and swamps for wood and energy.
  • Use Commerce Hubs as backup resource sources.
  • Build Banks early — capped resources are wasted resources!
